Blazon: A Lion rampant Purpure in front of a Roman Helmet Or

Link: The Roman helmet has been chosen with reference to the Roman wall which runs parallel to the camp boundary and is also indicative of the Wing of the Royal Air Force Regiment stationed there who operate as infantry, as most Romans did. The Lion in its colour comes from the Arms of the Percy family who were strong in the locality.
