Link: Lady Justice, who can be traced back to Roman times is internationally recognised as a symbol of law. She is depicted blindfolded to represent objectivity and holding the scales of truth and fairness. Her double-edged sword symbolises that law can be wielded for or against any party. The terrestrial globe represents Air Command, where the Branch is based and the worldwide dispersal of legal officers. The motto captures the principal purpose and mission of a lawyer.
