History: Formed at Hal Far, Malta as AHQ Malta Communictions Flight on 1 March 1944 and was renamed Malta Communications &
Target Towing Squadron on 1 July 1954. On 1 August 1963 it lost the Target Towing element and reverted to Malta Communications
Flight and finally disbanded at Luqa on 30 June 1968
