History: Formed 8 December ‘38 within the CFS as Handling Flight at Upavon to prepare Pilot’s Notes for each new type of aircraft introduced into service. Became Handling Squadron 11 June ’41 and moved to Boscombe Down on 12 April ’54. Remains current.
