History: Formed at Bentley Priory on 1 May 1936 from Inland Area and split into Flying Training Command and Technical Training Command on 27 May 1940. It was reformed on 1 June 1968 by amalgamating those two commands at Brampton Grange. On 13 June 1977 it merged into Support Command which in turn disbanded on 1 April 1994.
