Blazon: In front of a Sprig of Oak proper a Rose Argent

Link: The station is situated astride the county boundary of Nottinghamshire and the west Riding of York. The sprig of oak is embodied in the badge to suggest Nottinghamshire, the arms of the county council of which include an oak tree and the rose represents Yorkshire.

Motto: Latin: Usque ad coelum fines – Extending as far as the sky

History: Opened in August 1936 and closed on 1 January 1997
