Link: A dragon is included in the badge of RAF Colerne from where this unit carried out its first operational sortie, therefore by adopting a demi-dragon the unit perpetuates its association with this station. The collar of maple leaves has reference to the Canadian Army in Europe with whom it worked whilst the rocket refers to the weapons with which it was equipped.
