Blazon: In front of a Cross potent between four like Crosses Gules 2 Swords in saltire points uppermost proper pommelled and hilted Or.
Link: The cross marking comes from the Arms of Jerusalem but are red instead of yellow to link them with the cross of St George. The swords are introduced to represent the units role of defending the Holy Land.
Motto: Latin: Velox et vindex – Swift to vengeance.

Commissioned by George ‘Taff’ Checketts, 113 Sqn Western Desert 1941 and dedicated to all those who maintained the Blenheim’s airworthiness, thus ensuring the safe return of us, the aircrew.
