History: Formed as RAF Signals Centre Cyprus at RAF Ayios Nikolaos on 1 June 1956. Renamed RAF Communications Centre, Cyprus on 1 April 1959, before being re-designated No. 12 Signals Unit on 1 June 1969. Disbanded 1 Sept 2002
