Middleton-St-George

Blazon: A Canada Goose displayed proper holding the Blade of an Ancient Sword pommel and hilt to the sinister Argent

Link: A Canada Goose commemorates the fact that Middleton-St-George – known locally as Goosepool – served as a Royal Canadian Air Force base during the 1939-45 War. An ancient sword is introduced in reference to the name of the station as being a weapon of St George and symbolic of the defence of the area.
