Blazon: In front of a Cresset Sable fired proper an open Scroll proper charged with a Padlock Or pendant from the scroll a Seal Gules ribboned Azure.

Link: The cresset is the ancient equivalent of a radio beacon, being the means of transmitting important messages. The scroll indicates the documents produced and the padlock the safe custody of data.

Motto: Latin- Quo Certior estutiar – the more fully informed the safer.

History: Formed as Aeronautical Charts Section, Bushey Park, renamed 29 Jul ‘52 at Ruislip and remains current.
