History: Although no records for this unit appear to exist at AHB/RAF it is believed that it was formed as BAFO Signals Sqn in 1945, was renamed 2TAF Signals Centre in Sept ‘51, renamed 450 Signals Unit in Nov ‘56 before acquiring its present title in Apr ‘59. The disbandment date is unknown.
Commissioned by Corporal Robert ‘Titch’ Nottage and dedicated to all the Regular and National Service communicators who worked around the clock keeping RAF Germany in contact.
