Blazon: A Puma salient Sable

Link: The unit once had aircraft equipped with Puma engines and it symbolised the independence and tenacity of purpose shown by its daylight raids into Germany during World War I.

History: Formed Yatesbury 15 August 1917 disbanded Brize Norton 6 January 1976.NB. Re-formed early 2002 – current, after completion of the artwork.
