Link: The origins of this lies in France during WW I when the whole of the flying personnel became casualties within a few days, but it remained in action with new personnel drafted into it.

History: Formed Copmanthorpe 8 June 1916 and became a Reserve Sqn 12 October 1992. Note. Finally disbanded at Lyneham in March 2002, after completion of the artwork.
