Blazon: A double-headed Eagle displayed Azure armed Gules gorged with a collar of Fleur-de-Lys Or

Link: The double headed eagle is one of the charges of the City of Salisbury and thus associates the Sqn with its place of formation. The Fleur-de-Lys alludes to its service in France in WW1 when it was at one time attached to the French Army.

Motto: French: Nous y serons – We shall be there.

History: Formed Catterick 8 October 1917 disbanded Tuddenham 10 July 1963.

Commissioned by the 2nd Tactical Air Force Medium Bombers Association and dedicated to those of our comrades who laid down their lives that we may be free.

Battle Honours: No Standard.
